I think this is my own favourite of my songs. Lyrics, melody, theme. If I never write another song, I'll be happy with this.

This came from a Drunks In A Midnight Choir prompt. We had to look at an artist's work and come up with a song. I include the photo here.

I saw a picture of a kid on a bicycle cycling in the shadows and 'Out Of Sight' was born. The song is about how our public figures can be...inconsistent in their words and actions...

...as indeed most of us can be ourselves.

Seonaid Aitken again provides a wonderful string arrangement (performed by her string quartet).

Chris' work is wonderful and the song rips along at a fair pace, though he selflessly left out a great guitar solo to let the string quartet breathe.
I'll have to dig that up for the rarities version of the album.
